Counselor portal
Most counselors carry 300+ students and find out someone has no safety school in December. The portal surfaces that in September.
Setting up
- Sign up choosing I'm a counselor.
- Name your school. Fledgy AI generates a join code from the name plus the graduating year,
LINCOLN26. - Share the code. Students enter it at signup and appear on your roster.
No rostering integration, no CSV of student emails, no IT ticket. That is the entire onboarding.
Demo roster
One click loads six notional students with realistic college lists, activities, honors, recommenders and essays in progress, including one who is undecided and one who has been inactive for weeks, so the red flags have something to catch. Their accounts live on the fledgy.demo domain and can be removed in one click.

Student detail
Their stated goal and why, level and streak, counts across every module, full activity and honors list, college list with tiers and statuses, recommender statuses, and essay prompts and status.
Counselors never see essay draft text. You see that a student has three essays in revising and one still in brainstorm; you do not see what they wrote. Students who want a reader invite one explicitly as a contributor.

Assigning tasks
Write a task, optionally with a due date, priority and a link into the app. It appears at the top of that student's dashboard, above everything the app generated, because a real person asking outranks an inference. Completing one awards the student 30 XP and reports back to you.
Six quick-picks cover the common cases, add safety schools, ask recommenders, start the personal statement, fill the activities list, file FAFSA, check the honors finder.
The UI warns past three open tasks for one student, because more than that tends to get ignored.
Importing opportunities
Bulk-upload your district and community scholarships by CSV. Imported entries are scoped to your school and appear in your students' library beside the built-in ones.
