What ships

Every entry is real

Each opportunity, award and university corresponds to a genuine program with a genuine official URL. The catalog has deliberately not been padded with plausible-sounding entries to hit a larger number.

Growing it further needs a real data source, a licensed dataset, a scraping pipeline with human review, or counselor crowdsourcing. The CSV importer is the intended path in the meantime, and imported entries are scoped to the school that added them.

Deadlines are typical windows

Opportunity deadlines are stored as recurring annual dates and resolved to the next calendar occurrence. Most shift by a week or two each cycle. The UI labels them as typical windows and links to the official page everywhere they appear.

The same applies to:

• College application deadlines: standard published cycle dates, which move by a day or two some years.
• Test administrations: computed from the historical monthly pattern, not scraped from College Board or ACT.
• UCAS dates: stable year to year, but confirm on UCAS.

Always verify before planning around any date in this product.

Acceptance rates and offer ranges

US acceptance rates are the most recent published undergraduate figures and are used only to suggest a reach/target/safety tier. Acceptance rate is a poor proxy for your odds at any specific school, treat the suggestion as a starting point.

UK typical offers are ranges across courses; individual courses vary widely within a university.

Where AI was used

This application was built with AI assistance, including its code, its written guidance and the curation of these catalogs. Specifically:

• Application code and schema were written with an AI coding assistant.
• Catalog entries were assembled from an AI model's knowledge of real programs, then structured by hand.
• Guidance copy, essay advice, honors strategy, outreach templates, interview prep, was AI-drafted.

No student data is sent to any AI model at runtime. The essay checker, bullet auditor and superscore calculator are regex and arithmetic. Your essays, documents and scores are never transmitted anywhere. See Privacy policy.

Known limitations

• No payment processor: credits, premium, group subscriptions and the $50/month organisation listing tier do not charge.
• Seeded organisation listings describe real organisations that did not write or claim them, and are labelled as examples.
• No self-serve account deletion, and deleting a Clerk account does not cascade to the local record.
• Documents stored unencrypted; protected by access control only.
• Admit verification accepts a .edu address plus a letter without confirming the domain matches the college.
• Scoir import reads exported files; it is not a live API integration.
• Marketplace copy protection is a deterrent, not DRM.
